GivingTuesday FAQs
Everyone has something to give, and every act of generosity counts.
We are only 28 DAYS away! #GivingTuesday
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity around the world. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past eleven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
Bryan College began participating in GivingTuesday in 2016. The day is an opportunity for alumni, faculty/staff, students, and friends of the school to play a part in displaying Christ Above All and investing in the next generation.
Where does the money go?
All funds raised during GivingTuesday go toward the Bryan Scholarship Fund, which directly supports Bryan students.
Every year, GivingTuesday is held on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. This year, GivingTuesday is November 28, 2023.
The college years can be a pivotal chapter in life. It is often a transitional time when students figure out who they are and what
they believe. Our desire is that those who spend time on the Hill will be forever transformed by the power of education and the power of the Gospel.
95% of our students receive institutional scholarship funds in order to attend Bryan College. GivingTuesday is an opportunity to give back and invest in the stories of the next generation.
