Housing Policy

Residence Information

All single full-time students who have not reached the age of 22 by the end of the current semester and are not living at home or with immediate relatives in the area are required to live in college residence halls.

  1. The established rates for housing apply to all housing units.
  2. Room assignments are made by the Office of Student Life.
  3. All residence hall students are automatically registered as boarding students.
  4. All students, resident and commuter, will be assigned a Bryan College e-mail address. Important announcements and messages will be sent through the Bryan College e-mail address.
  5. All students, resident and commuter, will be assigned a Bryan College mail box number.
  6. All students, resident and commuter, receive a MyBryan account. Students are able to view their billing, class schedule, the campus calendar, and track required documents on their MyBryan account.

Housing Assignments
This questionnaire is done on-line through your MyBryan account. The Office of Student Life will use the information on this form to assign you to a compatible roommate. If you have made arrangements to room with someone specific, please indicate that in the comment box of the housing section. Such requests will be honored whenever possible.

Housing Deposits
Returning Students — To reserve a place in the residence hall each year students are required to pay a $100 housing deposit. This is a non-refundable deposit. Click Here to pay your housing deposit online. In addition you can pay via check, money order or cash. Checks or money orders should be written to Bryan College, attention Business office, please indicate it is for "Housing Deposit". Cash should be taken directly to the Business Office.

New/Incoming Student — No room assignments will be made until the $200 deposit has been paid and received by Bryan College ($100 enrollment deposit + $100 room deposit) and the Student Life registration has been completed. The first $100 deposit is the enrollment deposit. Click Here to pay your housing deposit once your enrollment deposit has been paid!

Housing Selection Timeline for Spring 2020:

  • Nov. 1-8: Notice of Intent

  • Nov. 11-22: Room request changes for current students

  • Jan. 7: Incoming student housing assignments

Housing Selection Timeline for Fall 2020:

  • April 3-9: Fall 2020 Notice of Intent

  • April 3: Townhouse Applications Due

  • April 8: Townhouse Decisions

  • April 9: Housing Deposit Deadline for Returning Students

  • April 16: Current Student Sign-ups (Cafeteria)

    • 9:00 p.m. : Housing access above 85 credit hours

    • 9:15 p.m. : Housing access above 65 credit hours

    • 9:30 p.m. : Housing access above 45 credit hours

    • 10:15 p.m. : Housing access below 45 credit hours

Housing Selection Timeline for Fall 2020 Incoming Students*

  • May 28: Incoming students that pay housing deposit before 5/1/2020

  • July 17: Incoming students that pay housing deposit between 5/1/2020 - 7/12/2020

  • August 13: Incoming students that pay housing deposit after 7/12/2020
