Hilltop Players present “The Diary of Anne Frank”

April 7, 2015 – On April 16 – 18, 2015, Bryan’s Hilltop Players will present “The Diary of Anne Frank,” fully staged and with orchestra.

Anne FrankDirector Bernie Belisle commented, “‘Anne Frank’ is a powerful story of love, labor, and perseverance during WWII. Based on the book ‘The Diary of a Young Girl,’ ‘The Diary of Anne Frank’ explores the fears and faith of a Jewish family faced with living in hiding during the German occupation of Amsterdam for 2 ½ years.”

Cast members include Rachel Liebert as Anne Frank, Caleb Julin as Otto Frank, Jessica Baskin as Edith Frank, Danielle Thompson as Margot Frank, Chase Smith as Peter van Daan, Drew Warren as Mr. van Daan, Kaitlyn Couch as Mrs. van Daan, Brandon Lawrence as Mr. Dussel, Martha Powers as Miep Gies, and Elijah Gray as Mr. Kraler.

The play opens on Thursday, April 16 – which coincides with Holocaust Remembrance Day – and runs through April 18. Performances begin at 7:30 P.M.
