Peter Bollant was born in Platteville Wisconsin on July 15, 1960 and was raised in a strict Roman Catholic Family and attended Catholic schools graduating from Bishop Cotter High School in 1978
He studied civil engineering at Winona State University and later the University of Wisconsin- Platteville for 3.5 years while working for the engineering department for the city of Winona, MN. He transferred and later graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX in 1983 where he met and later married his wife, Dr. Gwen Bollant who had been working as a nurse with refugees in several countries under World Vision.
After one year of marriage, they answered a call to missions and went to minister in Davao, Philippines in 1984. During that year Peter had become a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God. For the next 25 years Peter and Gwen directed Katargeo Ministries and later Living Stones Network of Hope Foundation working in tribal areas, teaching in various seminaries and schools, pastoring, establishing and directing an orphanage and medical clinic, training pastors and ministry workers, directing the building of schools, churches and various social projects in rural, mountain and city areas.
In 2009 Peter returned to the USA to Coach Golf at Bryan College while also finishing his Master’s degree in Family Life Education and later his research Doctorate in Sociological Integration of Religion and Society.
He and Gwen have been married for 34 years and have 3 children who graduated from Bryan College, Ariel, Jordanna, and Gabriel.
