Residence Hall Renovations

Arnold Dormitory was built in 1972. Woodlee-Ewing Dormitory was completed in 1984. Since these two residence halls were built, the furniture has never been replaced, and the bathrooms have never been updated. Our students spend the majority of their time in their dorm room. It’s their home away from home. It’s where they study, relax, shower, and sleep. It’s where they live. We want—and need—to make these residences healthier and more attractive.

To better serve our students, we need to replace the existing carpet with hard-surface flooring in Arnold, and we need to update bathroom furnishings and replace the original built-in furniture with modular furniture in both dorms.

Students are the reason we’re here! We want to improve the quality and safety of these residence halls for them, but we can’t do it alone. We need your help!

If you stayed in one of these dorms, perhaps you’d like to join with your suitemates to give toward renovating your suite. If you know someone who lived in Arnold or Woodlee-Ewing, perhaps you’d like to make your gift in their honor.

Whether you can give $11,000 to cover the cost of one suite, $5,000 for a bathroom, $3,000 for a room, or a much smaller gift, we need your help! Whatever you can give, know that it is very much appreciated and will be used to improve the quality of student residence halls.
