Adam is originally from Knoxville, TN and grew up playing soccer. He attended Columbia International University in Columbia, SC, where he received his Bachelors Degrees of Arts in Youth Ministry and Bible. While there he grew in his understanding of the Lord and identity in Christ alone, while also discovering some of his closest friendships, including his now wife, Joanna. After graduating from CIU, he went on to participate in the Impact 360 Residency program, where he served as a Student Discipleship resident and earned his Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation from North Greenville University. While serving at Impact, he learned what it looked like to disciple students and helped them come to know Jesus more deeply, be transformed in their character, and live a life of Spirit-empowered Kingdom influence. Adam and Joanna live in Soddy Daisy with their two dogs and enjoy hiking, kayaking, making coffee, and pursuing the Lord together. Feel free to drop by Student Life and come introduce yourself!
Upon moving to Chattanooga, I was seeking a position in Spiritual formation, college ministry, or Christian higher-education to utilize my education and training to join into the Kingdom work God was already doing. I heard about the position in the Christian Formation department doing discipleship and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to do all three of the things I felt the Lord calling me towards. Through some professional contacts who had worked at Bryan College previously, the Lord continued to lay Bryan College on my heart. I am excited to get started doing discipleship at Bryan College and learn what the Lord has in store for me here!
