Biography

Beth Pendleton, a proud native of Dayton, Tennessee, graduated from Rhea County High School and developed a strong work ethic growing up on a farm. She had a passion for sports and animals, engaging in activities like horse riding, softball, volleyball, and basketball. Beth’s love for sports continues to play a significant role in her life. After becoming a medical assistant, she landed her dream job at the Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopedics. However, her passion for community health led her to mentor individuals in her community, guiding them to lead healthy lifestyles. Beth is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education, focusing on Family and Child studies, with the aim of empowering and supporting others.

Beth and her husband, Casey, both completed their degrees at Bryan College and walked together in the 2021 commencement ceremony. Their family includes two sons and two dogs. Beth’s experience as a student at Bryan College was transformative, witnessing the love and support of professors, which motivated her to strive for excellence in academia and deepened her faith in God. Her desire to follow Christ daily and show love to students on similar paths was nurtured through mentorship. While studying, Beth assisted the volleyball and softball teams, cherishing the opportunity to mentor and witness God’s work through the athletes. Currently, as the BSN Clinical Coordinator in the nursing department, she is excited to collaborate with students, staff, and faculty to serve and heal the world through education.

Having the opportunity to mentor and show love was one of the greatest gifts to witness by seeing God work through them during the joyful and challenging times. Now that I have been led to work in the nursing department as the BSN Clinical Coordinator, I am excited to grow with the nursing students, staff, and faculty as we serve in helping heal the world through education.
