Biography

Special Agent (SA) Clint A. Cantrell teaches Criminal Justice and Digital Forensics courses on-campus as a Bryan College Teaching Fellow. His goal in teaching is to serve the students in helping prepare them for successful careers in law enforcement and related career fields. This preparation encompasses not only academics but faith and fitness, to include spiritual, mental and physical.

SA Cantrell joined the U.S. Air Force in 1988 as an enlisted (Airman Basic) Firefighter.  After returning from overseas and at the finish of his four-year enlistment, he transferred from active duty Air Force to the Tennessee Air National Guard (ANG) at McGhee Tyson, Knoxville.  Working as a firefighter for the ANG, he also gained employment as a fulltime firefighter with the state of TN working at the McGee Tyson Airport Fire Department.  During this time, he also went to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where he eventually earned his Bachelor of Science in Communications and Master of Arts in Psychology with minors in statistics and criminal justice studies.  Upon graduation, SA Cantrell earned his commission in the USAF and returned to active duty with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (OSI).

In 2003 Major Cantrell transferred from active duty to the USAF Reserves and joined the newly formed Department of Homeland Security as a Special Agent. SA Cantrell retired from the USAF in 2012.

From 2002 to 2009, SA Cantrell was an adjunct professor of criminal justice at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, AR.

SA Cantrell has over 24 years conducting investigations ranging from national security, human trafficking, illegal narcotics, visa fraud, worksite enforcement, to child exploitation.
