Concetta Swann

Biography

Raised and homeschooled in the Chattanooga area, Concetta Swann stepped foot on Bryan’s campus for the first time as a freshman in 2014. She grew up with her nose stuck in a book, and her love of reading led her to major in English Literature. Her favorite author is J.R.R. Tolkien, and she enjoyed referencing Tolkien’s work as much as possible in her assignments. Following graduation, Concetta continued her education while working part-time for the Advancement department as a graduate assistant. This turned into a full-time position in 2020, and she loves working with wonderful people doing something she is passionate about. Concetta is enthusiastic about budgeting, enjoys taking care of her houseplants, and strongly believes that the Oxford comma should be used always.
