Biography

Casey Jones is one of the engineering professors at Bryan College focusing on civil engineering. He attended the University of Arkansas where he completed his bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. in civil engineering. After completing the master’s degree (and prior to starting the Ph.D.), he worked as an engineer in the construction materials testing field. In this role, he was able to earn a Professional Engineering (P.E.) license in Arkansas. At Bryan, he teaches several upper-level civil engineering courses along with core requirements such as Statics and Mechanics of Materials. He is also the faculty advisor for the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) student chapter at Bryan. God blessed Casey with his beautiful bride, Courtney, and together they have two daughters. They enjoy getting into the outdoors as often as possible.

The community has supported the engineering program whole heartedly by helping us place students in internships as well as finding full-time employment following graduation. It is encouraging as a faculty member to see the program embraced by the community around us.
