Biography

M. Jacob Bembe was born in Elukwatini and grew up in a small town called Tjakastad, South Africa. He graduated from Mkolishi High School and then attended the University of Zululand. Following his second graduation, he attended Stellenbosch University. Then went to study with the University of Johannesburg and later the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and
Technology (KAIST). It was at KAIST that he met his wife, Brittany, and now they have three children together. Currently an Engineering assistant professor at Bryan College, where he teaches courses related to computing and engineering. Dr. Bembe has close to 20 years of experience as a process technology engineer, research engineer, and senior lecturer.
