John Shipes became Director of Finance in May 2024. John previously lived in Dayton (2018-2021) and learned about Bryan College and made many lasting relationships here and is very happy to be back. John’s professional career spans various industries and roles within the Accounting and Finance realm. John believes that in life we have a job (what we are paid to do), a career (utilizing our God-given talents and skills to the best of our ability), and a passion (which is realizing our calling is from God and our service is for His greater good). John looks to contribute to students, faculty, and staff further finding and pursuing their passions on Bryan Hill.
