Ms. Katelyn Novak has been involved in music from a young age and is passionate about using music to impact the people around her and point others to the beautiful and redemptive glory of Jesus Christ. She has been privileged with opportunities to serve as a music educator, performer, accompanist, and ensemble director throughout her time as a musician. Ms. Novak completed her degree in Music Education with a focus on voice at Bryan College in 2021, taking additional classes in piano pedagogy during her time as an undergraduate as well, and is currently pursuing her Master’s of Education with a focus in Child & Family Studies. Ms. Novak loves exploring new and creative ways to bring a well-rounded educational experience to both private lessons and classroom settings. Outside of academics and music, Ms. Novak can be found enjoying homemaking, houseplants, and hot tea.
The powerful sense of community and shared love for the Lord that I experienced as a residential student was not only formative then but has continued as an ongoing blessing during my time as a staff member.
