Biography
Alexis Marsh is the Assistant Professor of Theatre at Bryan College. Originally from Appomattox, Virginia, she graduated from Bryan College in 2013 with a double major in Theatre and Piano Performance. After earning her Master of Arts in Theatre from Louisiana Tech University (where she studied under Broadway and Equity Stage Manager Cherrie Sciro and SAFD National Fight Master Mark D. “Rat” Guinn), she began working at Bryan in 2018 and just graduated in May 2023 with her M.F.A. in Theatre Education from Mississippi University for Women. Some of her most memorable directing credits include My Fair Lady (2019), Last Train to Nibroc (2020), Steel Magnolias (2020), On The Verge (2021), and You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (2022). Outside of collegiate work, Alexis has also served as the Production Stage Manager and Director of Front Page News in Dayton from 2016-2020 in collaboration with Cumberland County Playhouse and the Rhea Heritage Preservation Foundation.
