Roni Starr brings 20 years of combined experience in public, private, and online education to her position as a Professional Academic Advisor at Bryan College. She holds a B.S. from Tennessee Wesleyan and a M.A.T. from Lee University. She and her husband serve at North Cleveland Baptist Church and have previously served churches in all three Grand Divisions of Tennessee, North Georgia, the Texas Panhandle, and the Upstate of South Carolina. They reside in Cleveland along with their daughter and three dogs. Roni enjoys teaching children’s Sunday School, singing, playing the piano, and running/walking with her dogs.
It is truly an honor to work at a college whose motto is “Christ Above All.” I am thrilled to be advising first-year students in the ARC. I understand that college is a huge transition and want to support our students in any way I can. They are continuously in my prayers and my door is always open whether for academic support or just to chat. Our students are living in unprecedented times and I feel called to be a dependable source of wisdom and guidance as they prepare to transition into an ever-changing world with an immutable God as their foundation.
