What sets our Worship & Performing Arts Program apart?

Our Bachelor of Arts degree in Music is perfect if you’re looking for a general music degree, want more freedom with electives, or are seeking to combine it with a second major.

Students in the Music program are thoroughly trained in both the theoretical and practical aspects of music–within the context of a biblical worldview– in order to use their talents for performing and teaching. This degree provides professional preparation for a career in music or a music-related vocation, as well as instruction for life-long learning experiences in music. Bryan’s faculty integrates a Christian worldview into course lectures and the teaching of various skills, as well as your daily practice and performance. We strive to help you point others to Christ, as well as glorify the Lord through your musical gifts and talents.

As a Theatre major at a smaller school, you will get far more firsthand experience with productions, whether that means being cast in several roles as an actor or being able to work as an assistant director, customer, or designer for a show. The main stage Hilltop Players productions we select at Bryan offer you the opportunity to get involved and grow as an artist in a way that larger programs are simply unable to provide. Bryan Theatre majors also develop close-knit relationships with other theatre students as well as with faculty. Simply put, Bryan Theatre is a family, which is something that can be difficult to find in larger Theatre programs.
