Dakota Murphy enters his first season as Assistant Coach for the Men’s and Women’s basketball teams. Before this season, Dakota served the past two years as a graduate assistant for the Men’s team, acting as a JV head coach and assisting with player development. Before joining the coaching staff, Dakota spent four years as a member of the basketball team as well.
One of my favorite verses is 1 Timothy 4:8 which says, “For while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.” I strive not only to help our athletes grow on the court but grow as people and as followers of Christ as well.
