Katelyn Novak (BCO)

Biography

Originally from Kentucky, Ms. Katelyn Novak came to Bryan College as a residential student and fell in love with the strong and supportive Bryan community. Since completing her undergraduate degree in Music Education, she has had the opportunity to serve at Bryan as a Contact Center Representative, Interim Coordinator of Community Outreach, and currently fills the role of Academic Advisor for BC Online students. She has also stayed active in the music field, teaching voice and piano lessons as well as directing community youth choirs through the Bryan College Performing Arts Academy. Drawing from her educational background, Ms. Novak loves exploring research-based approaches to providing well-rounded learning experiences to both her BC Online advisees and community music students. Ultimately, her greatest desire is to use the educational space to point those around her to the beautiful and redemptive glory of Jesus Christ. When not involved in academics, music, and ministry, Ms. Novak can be found baking, crafting, enjoying deep conversations with friends, or puttering around with her excessive amount of houseplants. Regardless of the activity, she is bound to have a cup of hot tea nearby.
