Recruiter – FAFSA Specialist

Position Summary

As an Admissions Staff member, the Recruiter – FAFSA Specialist will be a driven, personable counselor able to guide incoming students and families through the FAFSA completion process, build authentic connections with prospects, and support Bryan College’s recruitment goals.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Enrollment Management, the Recruiter – FAFSA Specialist plays a critical role in assisting students and families with the financial aid process and meeting recruitment goals for Bryan College. This position is responsible for:

• Providing expert guidance and support to incoming students and families in completing the FAFSA through inbound and outbound calling
• Utilizing a variety of contact methods, including calls, emails, texts, and social media outreach, to engage and build relationships with prospective students and families
• Serving as a knowledgeable resource on financial aid options, deadlines, and the overall FAFSA process
• Conducting in-depth interviews to evaluate prospects’ financial aid needs and eligibility
• Guiding interested prospects through Bryan’s admissions process to secure commitments
• Maintaining detailed notes, profiles, and tracking records of outreach efforts and prospect developments
• Partnering closely with the Admissions team to understand current and future recruitment needs and gaps to target
• Representing Bryan College with the utmost professionalism at all times
• Staying up-to-date on FAFSA changes
• Supporting BCR and BCO recruitment goals by functioning within the call center
