Card has branched out beyond the music which made his name known within the Christian community into the various mediums he uses today. Whether it’s through his writings, concerts, or teaching, the core of what binds these seemingly diverse endeavors together is biblical community.
His presentations continue a chapel theme for the fall on the life and teachings of Jesus. Ben Norquist, director of spiritual formation, said, “Certainly, the death and resurrection of Jesus are the heartbeat of our faith, but His life and teaching give texture to that.”
Mr. Card will speak in Rudd Auditorium for the chapel programs at 10 a.m. Wednesday and Friday, and in a music repertoire class at 4 p.m., also in Rudd Auditorium. These presentations—lectures, not concerts—are open to the public.
