Bryan College Adult and Graduate Studies held its first orientation for students in the new Bachelor’s in Applied Psychology degree program Tuesday, February 5.

Students can complete their bachelor’s degree in 17 months. This program is designed to help students accomplish their career goals by offering a format that accommodates the lifestyle of busy adults.

Dr. Steve Bradshaw, head of the psychology department, said the applied psychology program was developed in response to requests from students interested in the degree completion program who wanted something besides a business degree.

Stacey Duke, assistant director of admissions, said, “We are very excited about this newest addition to the Adult and Graduate Studies degree program. Our first orientation was a huge success.”

Currently, classes are only offered at the downtown Chattanooga location.  In mid-February, the college expects to announce when the program will be offered online.
