Hundreds of high school and college students will gather at the Bryan campus for two two-week sessions of Summit Ministries’ 2008 leadership training program July 6-18 and July 20-August 1.
If Christians are to be effective in today’s world, they simply must know why they believe what they believe.  The curriculum is challenging and will help students confront the intellectual, social, and spiritual demands that college will impose. For those going to a non-Christian college, Summit provides training that is absolutely crucial and that will help them articulate a Christian response to the many challenges to their faith that they will face there.
Summit, endorsed by Christian leaders including Dr. James Dobson, Chuck Colson and Josh McDowell, delves deep into topics including Christian and non-Christian worldview, apologetics, the creation-evolution debate, America’s heritage, Islam, political and social action and cults and world religions.
In addition to the challenging classes there is plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful East Tennessee area and attractions such as whitewater rafting, paintballing, caving or visiting Chattanooga to share your faith.
Also this summer, Summit will host a one-week worldview conference for parents, educators, and ministry leaders. The July 6-11 conference is designed to help those who work with students prepare them for significant cultural impact.
