Bruce Morgan, Dean of Community Life

Born in the small town of Homer, Louisiana, Bruce Morgan has called Dayton his home since 1999 when he became Bryan College’s Dean of Community Life.

Bruce received his undergraduate degree (History, Teacher Certification) from Bryan in 1982, and has since then earned his Masters of Arts in Higher Education degree from Geneva College (PA).  Before returning to his alma mater, Bruce spent many years working in secondary education as a history teacher in Florida prior to returning to Bryan.

Bruce enjoys playing basketball, listening to Black Gospel, jazz, and 60’s R&B music, and is an avid LSU Tigers fan.

Bruce and his wife Jerri have one daughter (Rose) and one son (Andrew) and live in Dayton.
