Fine Arts' exciting semester ends with London tour

Here are highlights—along with stories, photos, and videos—from the Music and Theatre departments' busy fall semester:
- December 30, 2008 - January 8, 2009: London Fine Arts Tour
- December 12-13: Christmas Concert: Christmas on the Hill
- November 30: Juniors Phillip Kohler and Ryan Smith [photos] performed as finalists in the concerto competition of the Southern Adventist University Symphony Orchestra
- November 22: Piano students Natalie McGehee, Stacy LeJeune, Sharalyn Goodman, Amy Scripka, and Phillip Kohler performed benefit recital at University of Tennessee Chattanooga
- November 20: Brass and Flute Ensembles played at Hunter Museum, Chattanooga
- November 15: Kimberly McKennett, Natalie McGehee, Brittany McGehee, and Molly Gehring took top honors at State Piano Competition [photo] [story]
- November 14-15: Mendelssohn's oratorio, Elijah [story]
- November 7: Music students Natalie McGehee, Brittany McGehee, Lauren Page, and Molly Gehring performed for the Chattanooga Center for Creative Arts
- October 2-4: Hilltop Players' production: Our Town
- September 19: Music Concert Series—Uptown Big Band

Throughout the semester: The Chamber Singers performed at area churches and civic organizations
