Department of Christian Ministry

The Department of Christian Ministry provides the professional educational component for prospective Christian leaders in a variety of church and parachurch positions. The department works with other departments and programs on and off campus to provide the necessary experiences that prepare individuals for Christian Ministry positions.

Welcome to the Christian Ministry Department at Bryan College. These are exciting times to be at Bryan College. The Christian Ministry Department exists to train men and women to serve in ministry positions in a variety of fields such as youth ministry in the local church, parachurch organizations, children's ministries, educational ministry in the church, Christian school teaching, higher education, as well as the preparation of men and woman to further their studies in graduate study opportunities.

The program has as its base biblical and theological foundations for Christian Ministry. Without a strong biblical and theological background, students would have little to no foundation from which to build a solid educational ministry in Christ. What students will find in the Christian Ministry Department, as well as the rest of Bryan, are caring faculty who will challenge the students spiritually, in their critical thinking, in ministry preparation, and to grow in their knowledge of solid biblical theology and educational practice.
