Chamber Singers' Southern California Tour
June 19, 2008The 19-member Chamber Singers, along with Drs. David and Sigrid Luther and Dr. and Mrs. Phil Lestmann, participated in a post-commencement tour to the Los Angeles area from May 12-19.
The group performed in several churches, two Christian high schools and an assisted living facility. The singers also performed an informal mini-concert at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove for several tourists.
Some leisure time was spent at a couple of area beaches as well as a day at Knottsberry Farm amusement park. A highlight of the tour was being hosted by Tim and Jennilee St. John, alums and former members of the Chamber Singers.
Tryouts for Bryan's choral groups--Chorale, Chamber Singers, and Women's Chorus--will be held at the beginning of the fall semester.
