Student Loan Status  

Repayment of Stafford Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans begins 6 months after graduation, if a student drops to less than 6 hours, or if they leave Bryan for any other reason. To access your complete loan history at any time, visit www.nslds.ed.gov. This website will give you important information such as the status of your loan, loan amount, lender, and repayment period.

It is important to create an account with your lender so that you can update contact information and make loan payments. Visit the website of your lender below and login to update and view information on your loan.

If a parent or borrower needs to know who is servicing their loan they can contact the Direct Loan Applicant Service Number at 1.800.557.7394 M-F 8am-8pm EST.

Student Loan Deferment & Forbearance

If there are certain circumstances that are preventing you from being able to pay back your loan such as continuing education, economic hardship, or military service; you may be able to defer repayment of your student loans. Perkins Loans are serviced by ACS. You can visit their website at www.acs-education.com to check your Perkins balance, update contact information, apply for deferment, or make a payment.
