This Friday, March 21, the Bryan College Music Department presents “Voices Uplifted,” a concert given by the choral groups of the college.

“Included on the program will be a package of songs from the Women’s Chorus, followed by the Chamber Singers.  The Bryan Chorale will then present their concert from the recent spring tour,” said Dr. David Luther, director of the Chorale and Chamber Singers and also one of the directors of the concert.  “The music will involve various styles, such as anthems, gospel arrangements, and African-American spirituals.”

The Women’s Chorus, under the direction of Assistant Professor of Music Kimberly Keck, will amaze attendees with “Offertory” and “Jesus Will Still Be There,” among other beloved songs.  Selections to be performed by the Chorale include timeless favorites such as “O Worship the King,” “Let Me Hide Myself in Thee,” and “Wade in the Water,” while the celebrated Chamber Singers will present others including “Silence the Stones” and “Jesus Paid it All.”

“Voiced Uplifted” begins on March 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Rudd Auditorium.  This spectacular performance is free and open to the public.
