The total amount of data collected in the world is doubling every two years. With this exponential growth comes a demand for people who can handle large data sets to tease out and explain meaningful relationships.
The B.S. in Data Analytics will prepare graduates to succeed in this rapidly-changing environment. This major has a mix of computer science and statistics courses, with enough free electives to gain in-depth studies in a cognate area, such as business, finance, or psychology. Since Data Analytics can be applied to any field of study, this cognate area will provide familiarity with the issues associated with specific data sets.
