Program Overview

Requirements

Eighteen hours beyond PSY111 General Psychology are required for a minor in Soul Care:

  • PSY 231 Introduction to Christian Soul Care (3 hours)
  • PSY327 Methods & Models of Integration (3 hours)
  • PSY328 Soul Care Counseling (3 hours)
  • PSY422 Psychology of Christian Spirituality (3 hours)
  • ONE of the following: (3 hours)
    • CM123 Christian Spiritual Formation & Discipleship
    • PSY431 Group Experience in Soul Care
  • ONE of the following: (3 hours)
    • PSY334 Social Psychology
    • PSY426 Gender & Sexuality

Benefits of this Program

A minor in Soul Care allows students to receive practical training in stewardship and counseling while still pursuing a baccalaureate degree in another discipline.
