Fall Semester 2022 is Here!

Dorm Room

Welcome to Bryan College!

We are so excited to have life and excitement back on campus for a semester that will be filled with love, growth, and learning! We had the privilege to meet several incoming freshmen on Monday. Their zest for change and eagerness to start college was a boost of enthusiasm for everyone around! On Tuesday, we welcomed home the returning Lions, who are now upperclassmen! They have the honor of leading the campus to new heights and continuing down their own journey that they had already started. We cannot wait to see where all of our students go!

Check out some of the brief interviews with incoming and returning students. We pray for a semester full of purpose and value.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” -Deuteronomy 31:6

  • Welcome to Bryan, incoming freshmen – Haley Eaker, Kendall Garmany, and Dagan Pugh. We caught them walking through the triangle heading to get their ID photos taken. They are super excited about the semester ahead and all the changes to come!
  • When asked what they are most excited about for coming to Bryan, Haley(left) said, “The difference between the public school and the Christian school. I am also looking forward to the Christian-focused classes.” Kendall(middle) said, “I am most looking forward to all of the sporting events and games!” Dagan(right) said, “Everything. There is a lot to take in and enjoy!” We are glad to have these three on campus and look forward to seeing them grow during their time here.

  • Coming back to the den are four Sophomores, ready to get the semester started. They are feeling settled into their dorm and preparing for classes.
  • We interviewed Marcus Allen (far right), a Psychology Major from Miami, FL. I asked Marcus what he is most excited to come back to Bryan for this year, and he said, “I am most excited to come back to Bryan to dunk on people!” Marcus is going into his second year on scholarship playing for our Men’s Basketball Team. He had such a fun enthusiasm for the basketball program and loves the game. A couple of the other young men pictured here are also his teammates that he lives in the same dorm with!
  • Welcome back to campus Robinson Hall girls: Taylor Derr, Ashton Estrada, Emma Steele, and Ashlee Smith. These girls were full of laughter and energy during their move-in, getting everything all comfy and unpacked. They were enjoying the time of reconnecting.
  • We asked them what their majors were and what they plan to do after graduation. Taylor Derr (second to right) is a Business Management Major with a Minor in Bible. She wants to work at a random business one day and use her Bible Minor as her ministry to disciple people that might not know Jesus or go to church. Ashlee Smith(right) is a Psychology Major and she hopes to do counseling or work at a psychiatric hospital. Ashton Estrada(middle) is a Psychology Major and she plans to be a speech pathologist. Emma Steele(second to left) is a Psychology Major and plans to be a kids counselor.

  • Meet Andrew Morris, an incoming freshman, and his little brother, getting all moved into his dorm. They were really friendly and had a passion for Bryan College.
  • We asked Andrew what he was most looking forward to coming to Bryan and he responded, “I am just looking forward to the whole experience. I am really excited! I think this will be a great school for me to pursue my career. I am going to major in biology, with a focus on pre-dental. I also think it will be a great place to grow socially as well as spiritually.” Welcome home, Andrew!

  • We asked if he planned to get involved with anything on campus besides athletics, and he said, “I am interested in FCA and things like that so I would be interested in attending the club fair and seeing what all there is to do.” We are excited to watch him grow these next four years at Bryan. Welcome, Elliott!
  • Meet incoming freshman roommates, Libby Adams and Madeline Gay. Libby is doing our Bi-Vocational Major with Christian Ministry and Creative Writing and Madeline is doing a Communications Major with a Minor in Theatre.
