MLK Day Celebration

MLK Day Celebration at Bryan College

Martin Luther King Jr. championed the rights and dignity of all people, inspiring us to strive for a more just and equitable world. Honoring his memory and ideals today reaffirms our commitment to creating a better future for everyone.

The MLK Day Celebration in Chapel on Friday (1/12) was exceptionally special. Michael Palmer spoke about why we honor Martin Luther King Jr. Felipe Arias sang Dr. King’s favorite hymn, accompanied by Janice Pendergrass. Kauri Tallant read an excerpt from MLK’s “Loving Your Enemies” sermon. Bruce Morgan shared a part of his story, recounting his experience growing up in the segregated South.

Enjoy this clip we shared for our students, faculty, and staff as we pay tribute to Dr. King today.
