Presidential Scholarship

Incoming freshmen with a minimum of 3.80 unweighted high school GPA or 27 ACT/1260 SAT/84 CLT.
Dean's Merit Scholarship

Incoming freshmen with a minimum 3.35 unweighted high school GPA and 24 ACT/1160 SAT/76 CLT.
Distinguished Service Award
$1,000 – $2,000
Competitive scholarship for incoming freshmen awarded through an on-campus event.
Honors Award
The Great Commoner Award

Competitive scholarship for incoming freshmen awarded through an on-campus event.
Transfer Scholarship

Awarded to students transferring in to the traditional undergraduate program. Additional need-based grants may be available to those who qualify.

Full Tuition
Designed to help make Bryan College accessible to all academically qualified Tennessee residents who demonstrate significant financial need.
General Criteria
- First-time freshman
- Complete FAFSA by January 31
- Total family income < $36,000
Full Tuition
- Cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 and ACT 21 or SAT 1060
Full Tuition, Room, & Board
- Cumulative high school GPA of 3.75 and ACT 29 or SAT 1330

The Mary Naugle Memorial Scholarship
Amount Varies
Competitive scholarship for Incoming freshmen or current students who are in/have aged out of foster care.
The Helen M. Johnson Scholarship
Awarded to a deserving student with a physical impairment.
One award may be offered to a student who falls into one of these categories at the full $500 amount. Students who are eligible for more than one selective grant will be awarded $250 for each additional award.
Alumni Grant
$500
The Alumni Grant is offered to students who have a parent or grandparent that has graduated from Bryan College. If you are eligible please contact the Alumni Office at 423.755.7297 or alumni@bryan.edu to validate and notify the Financial Aid Office.
This grant is renewable.
Christian Worker/Missionary Grant
$500
Incoming students whose primary wage-earning parent is in full-time domestic or foreign Christian ministry.
This grant is renewable as long as the guidelines are met each year.
Homeschool Grant
$500
Awarded to students who were home educated for at least the last two years of high school.
This grant is renewable.
Sibling Grant
$500
The Sibling Grant is designed to help families who have more than one member of an immediate household attending Bryan College full-time. This does not include married children or students considered independent for financial aid purposes.
- Two siblings enrolled concurrently receive $500 each
If a sibling graduates or leaves the school at any time, the amount of aid will be adjusted accordingly.
Phi Theta Kappa Grant
$500
Awarded to transfer students who graduated from a community college and had membership in the Phi Theta Kappa honors society. This grant is renewable.
One award may be offered to a student who is selected to participate in one of these performance-based opportunities. These awards are non-stackable among themselves.

Awarded to students who show proficiency in the areas of music, worship arts, or theatre.
Martial Arts
Amount Varies
Awarded to students based upon ability in martial arts and is stackable with any other institutional aid. Students interested in this scholarship should contact the Martial Arts instructor. Amounts vary and are renewable at the instructor’s discretion.
