The following scholarships and grants are available to students participating in the Residential Undergraduate programs.

Academic Scholarships

Presidential Merit Scholarship

$6,000

Incoming freshmen with a minimum 3.75 high school GPA and 29 ACT/1330 SAT/90 CLT.

Transfer Scholarship

Awarded to students transferring in to the traditional undergraduate program. Additional need-based grants may be available to those who qualify.

Bryan Opportunity Scholarship Program

Full Tuition

Designed to help make Bryan College accessible to all academically qualified Tennessee residents who demonstrate significant financial need.

General Criteria

  • First-time freshman
  • Complete FAFSA by January 31
  • Total family income < $36,000

Full Tuition

  • Cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 and ACT 21 or SAT 1060

Full Tuition, Room, & Board

  • Cumulative high school GPA of 3.75 and ACT 29 or SAT 1330

Rhea County Scholarship

$6,000

Rhea County residents with a minimum 3.0 GPA and 21 ACT/1060 SAT/68 CLT.

One award may be offered to a student who falls into one of these categories. These awards are non-stackable among themselves.

Alumni Grant

$500

The Alumni Grant is offered to students who have a parent or grandparent that has graduated from Bryan College. If you are eligible please contact the Alumni Office at 423.755.7297 or alumni@bryan.edu to validate and notify the Financial Aid Office.

This grant is renewable.

Christian Worker/Missionary Grant

$500

Incoming students whose primary wage-earning parent is in full-time domestic or foreign Christian ministry.

This grant is renewable as long as the guidelines are met each year.

Homeschool Grant

$500

Awarded to students who were home educated for at least the last two years of high school.

This grant is renewable.

Sibling Grant

$500

The Sibling Grant is designed to help families who have more than one member of an immediate household attending Bryan College full-time. This does not include married children or students considered independent for financial aid purposes. The grant is set up with a tiered scale providing more money relative to the number of siblings at Bryan.

  • Two siblings enrolled concurrently receive $500 each
  • Three or more siblings enrolled concurrently receive $1,000 each

If a sibling graduates or leaves the school at any time, the amount of aid will be adjusted accordingly.

Talent Scholarships

One award may be offered to a student who is selected to participate in one of these performance-based opportunities. These awards are non-stackable among themselves.

Athletic Scholarships

Amount Varies

Awarded to students based upon ability.

Awarded to students who show proficiency in the areas of music, worship arts, or theatre.

Martial Arts

Amount Varies

Awarded to students based upon ability in martial arts and is stackable with any other institutional aid.  Students interested in this scholarship should contact the Martial Arts instructor.  Amounts vary and are renewable at the instructor’s discretion.
