The Presidential Merit, Presidential and Dean’s Merit are the base academic scholarships that are awarded to incoming freshman students. These awards are merit-based and determined by student test scores or GPA. Students have the opportunity to retake any test until the date that they begin enrollment in order to increase their score with the potential to receive a larger scholarship. Awards are renewable based on maintaining academic standards as outlined in the college catalog.

This award is a supplement to the Presidential and Dean’s Scholarship. Amounts range from $1,000 to $3,000 for students who compete at a Scholarship Weekend Event and are awarded on top of the base academic scholarship. Participation in the event is required and is by invitation only. Award acceptance and renewal require ongoing involvement in a service-based volunteer activity. This award is not stackable with an athletic scholarship.
This award is for students who are accepted into the Bryan College Honors Institute. Acceptance into the Honors Institute is by invitation only. Award acceptance and renewal require ongoing participation in the Honors Institute.
Full tuition scholarship ($16,900)
This award replaces the Presidential or Dean’s Scholarship. The award provides a full tuition scholarship for one student who competes through the essay contest administered at the Scholarship Weekend Event. Participation in the event is required and is by invitation only. This scholarship is not stackable with any other Bryan aid.

Awarded to students transferring to the traditional undergraduate program with post-high-school transfer credits. Transfer students may also be eligible to receive additional need-based grant assistance. These awards are renewable.
Bible College Partners Scholarship
Awarded to students who received a minimum ACT score of 18 (940 SAT) and transferring to Bryan College from Jackson Hole Bible College or Word of Life Bible Institute with at least a 3.0 GPA. Based on cumulative college GPA for all classes taken since high school graduation. Requires the completion of the one-year certificate program. Award is not stackable with other Bryan aid.
National Merit Scholar Recognition Program
Finalists and Semi-Finalists will receive a full tuition scholarship ($16,900).
Awarded to incoming freshmen who are National Merit Finalists and Semi-Finalists as a result of the National Merit Scholar competition. To apply please send a copy of your letter of recognition from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation to the Financial Aid Office. This scholarship is not stackable with any other Bryan aid.
