Engineering Student Outcomes
By the time our students graduate from Bryan College with their bachelor’s degree in engineering they will display:
an ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics
an ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors
an ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences
an ability to recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and make informed judgments, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts

Licensing Disclosure for the Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) degree:
The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) within Bryan College’s Vogel School of Engineering is accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET). Engineering licenses are issued by appropriate agencies in each state and the requirements for licensure are set by that state. State boards of Engineering and Technology typically require Professional Engineer licensure applicants to graduate from an ABET accredited school. As such, all Bryan College graduates with a BSE degree meet this requirement and are eligible to begin the process of earning a Professional Engineering license. However, it is important for students to understand that state-by-state requirements vary in terms of examination requirements, professional experience, and specific coursework. Thus, it is imperative that students consult the State Engineering Board where employment is desired for more specific information.
