By the time our students graduate from Bryan College with their bachelor’s degree in engineering they will display:
The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) within Bryan College’s Vogel School of Engineering is
accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET). Engineering licenses are
issued by appropriate agencies in each state and the requirements for licensure are set by that state.
State boards of Engineering and Technology typically require Professional Engineer licensure applicants
to graduate from an ABET accredited school. As such, all Bryan College graduates with a BSE degree
meet this requirement and are eligible to begin the process of earning a Professional Engineering
license.
However, it is important for students to understand that state-by-state requirements vary in terms of
examination requirements, professional experience, and specific coursework. Thus, it is imperative that
students consult the State Engineering Board where employment is desired for more specific
information.
