ARC Testing Center

The Bryan College Academic Resource Center (ARC) Testing Center is dedicated to serving students, faculty, and the community by providing a space for students who require testing alternatives due to athletics, excused absences resulting from illness, or approved ADA accommodations. Community members may take CLEP exams in the Testing Center for a $30 testing fee.

All tests must be scheduled 24 hours in advance by making an appointment on our Testing Center Appointment page.

Please read the ARC Testing Center Policies when scheduling an exam.

Testing Center Hours:
Monday – Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: CLOSED
Sunday: CLOSED

CLEP

CLEP is a 90-minute computer-based exam. On test day, a total of two hours will be required for the exam administration and registration process. A $30 non-refundable administration fee is required on the day that you take your CLEP exam. Payments may be made online, by check, or by cash.

Pay Testing Fees

TEST DATES: CLEP exams will be administered by appointment only and are administered in the Testing Center in Mercer 212.

CLEP REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Go to CLEP.org to create an account and register for a test.
  2. Once you have created your account and paid the fee, you may schedule an appointment in the Testing Center to take the CLEP test.
  3. You must have the following items with you on the day of the test:
  • $30 non-refundable administration fee, payable online, by check or cash.
  • Photo ID (valid driver’s license or passport)
  • Printed CLEP ticket

TEST RESULTS: After the test, an official score will be mailed to the institution that you designated within 10 days of the test administration.

NOTE: CLEP exams are by appointment only during Fall and Spring terms. If you’d like to schedule a CLEP test during the summer, contact the ARC at arc@bryan.edu. If you are a Bryan College student, please consult your academic adviser before registering for a CLEP test.

Policies and Guidelines

  • Please review the ARC Testing Center Policy.
  • Students are expected to arrive on time for scheduled exams. If they arrive 30 minutes late without emailing arc@bryan.edu, their appointment will be cancelled, and they’ll need to reschedule.
  • Students who miss three appointments may lose Testing Center privileges for the remainder of the semester.
