English Literature is a course of study designed to give students an overview of literature, grammar, and writing, which is both broad and deep.
An English degree from Bryan College equips students to serve Christ in today’s world by thinking critically, expressing themselves clearly, and learning to understand others graciously. Professors teach students how to handle texts responsibly by searching for the author’s intended meaning. Students will learn how to read literature through the lens of Scripture and will be prepared for the rigors of graduate work.
